BRYN MAWR, PA – Earlier Wednesday, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced the 2025 Academic Honor Squads and the Division III Academic Honor Roll. Bryn Mawr College was recognized in both categories, continuing the program's strong tradition of academic achievement.
The Owls were named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad for the 2024–25 academic year, an honor awarded to teams that post a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. Bryn Mawr was one of 383 institutions across Divisions I, II, III, and NAIA to earn this distinction.
In addition to the team honor,
Fiona McHale '25 and
Krista Chan '26 were named to the 2025 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll, which recognized 1,286 student-athletes from 201 institutions this year. To qualify, student-athletes must be juniors, seniors, or graduate students and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
McHale, a biology major, graduated in May 2025, while Chan is currently pursuing a degree in Growth and Structure of Cities. Both have excelled as scholar-athletes, demonstrating excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
