Strength & Conditioning Coach Job Description:
The Head Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for the development and implementation of all phases of training programs for varsity athletes across all sports. The primary strength and conditioning goals are to increase the overall strength, speed, power, flexibility, balance, and agility of our athletes, and to reduce athletic-related injuries. All weight room sessions are supervised by the head strength and conditioning coach and are tailored to meet the needs of each individual as well as the sport-specific requirements. Close coordination with the head coaching staff of each sport makes certain program design relates to the timing of the competitive seasons. Coordination with the athletic training staff is also critical to ensure best practices in injury prevention and return to play.
