The goal of the Leadership Academy is to foster Inclusion, Commitment, Growth, and Integrity. These core values were identified by department staff and coaches in an effort to define leadership within our unique context at Bryn Mawr.
The purpose of the Leadership Academy is to provide a venue for student-athletes to further develop existing leadership skills and qualities, while learning new skills and strategies. Through collaboration with student-athletes across teams, participants are encouraged to engage with each of the values across four corresponding sessions throughout the school year. Through discussion and activities, the student-athletes assess themselves and their teams, build new skills, and explore their role within the team culture. Athletes at any level may apply for Leadership Academy.
