BRYN MAWR, PA- Six members of the Bryn Mawr College tennis team were recognized for their outstanding work in the classroom, earning Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2025-26 academic year.

Representing the Owls on this year's list are Sophie Fenster, Giselle Gandakusuma, Gioanna Zhao, Bianca Vesuna, Carina Roberts, and Shay Villegas.

The ITA Scholar-Athlete award recognizes student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence both on the court and in the classroom. To earn the distinction, student-athletes must maintain a grade-point average of at least 3.50 for the academic year while competing for their institution.

The recognition reflects Bryn Mawr's continued commitment to academic achievement and the dedication of its student-athletes to balancing the demands of collegiate athletics with rigorous coursework.
