BRYN MAWR, PA - Bryn Mawr tennis Sophie Fenster '26 has been named to the 2025-26 Philadelphia Area Sports Information Directors Association (Philly-SIDA) Academic All-Area Women's Tennis Team, an honor recognizing excellence both in the classroom and in athletic competition.

A two-year team captain, Fenster enjoyed a standout season for the Owls while competing primarily at No. 1 singles and also in doubles. She earned All-Centennial Conference First Team Singles honors and was selected as the Centennial Conference Player of the Week on March 17, 2026. Fenster finished the year with an 11-7 record at No. 1 singles, including a 4-4 mark in Centennial Conference play. In doubles competition, she posted an impressive 15-3 overall record and went 7-1 against conference opponents.

Fenster's selection to the Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Team reflects her dedication to academic achievement, leadership, and success on the court, making her one of the region's top student-athletes.
