Bryn Mawr, PA – Senior captain
Sophie Fenster has capped off a standout season for the Bryn Mawr tennis team with a selection to the All-Centennial Conference First Team in singles, marking the program's first first-team singles honoree since the 2018–19 season.
Fenster delivered a dominant performance at the top of the lineup all spring, securing 11 singles victories at the No. 1 position, including four wins in Centennial Conference play. Her consistency and leadership were instrumental in guiding the Owls to a 10–9 overall record and the highest national ITA ranking in program history at No. 66.
A key figure throughout her career, Fenster concludes her time at Bryn Mawr with 28 career singles victories and 36 wins in doubles competition. Her all-around excellence has been recognized multiple times, including Centennial Conference Player of the Week honors on March 17, 2026 and March 11, 2025.
This year's first-team accolade builds on a strong sophomore campaign in 2024, when Fenster earned All-Centennial Second Team honors in both singles and doubles.
In addition to Fenster's recognition, teammate
Bianca Vesuna was honored with the conference's sportsmanship award.
Fenster's legacy leaves a lasting mark on the Bryn Mawr tennis program, both through her individual achievements and her role in elevating the team to new heights.
