COLLEGEVILLE, PA- The Owls traveled to Ursinus College on Saturday, February 8th to compete at the Frank Colden Invitational. Bryn Mawr collected a series of personal records and earned top-ten finishes on the day.

Sprints/Hurdles: Mika Heshiki started the Owls off Saturday morning with a new personal record in the 60m hurdles and lowered her Conference Qualifying mark to 10.41s. Senior Novy Goetgeluk joined Heshiki with a qualifying mark and a season best in the 60m dash (8.44s). Molly Fancher also earned a personal record in the event, running 8.82s. First-year Shelbey Lu notched a season best in the 200m dash in a time of 30.83s. Heshiki and Lauren Kitay both qualified and notched season bests in the 400m dash, while Autumn Williams recorded a season best as well.

Jumps : Fancher returned to the long jump event after a two-week hiatus to earn her second-best jump of the season (4.46m). Teammate Jess Johnson used her third attempt in trials to earn a spot in the finals, eventually landing a mark of 4.91m to secure a sixth-place finish. Triple jump continued to be the dominant event for the school record-holder as Johnson finished fourth in the event, marking a 10+ meter attempt for the sixth meet in a row.

Endurance: Eva Ackley earned a Centennial Conference qualifying mark in the 5k, running 19:38.36, and teammate Sohini Sarkar set an indoor personal record of 22:22.80. In the 800m, Malin Just (2:21.76) and Lauren Kitay (2:25.30) both set personal records and qualified for championships. Phylicia Cannon also notched a personal record in the event. Milers Megan McDonald (5:50.98) and Emma Smirk (6:09.91) both set personal bests at the distance as well.

Multis: First-year Dahlia Nemes stepped up for the Owls and competed in the Pentathlon for the first time in her track & field career. The rookie set a personal record and hit a Centennial Conference qualifying mark in the long jump with a 4.25m leap. Another personal record was set in the shot put with a toss of 6.32m. Nemes finished her day with a stunning time (2:57) in the 800m. In addition to hitting the long jump mark, Nemes' performance qualifies her for the Centennial Conference Championships in the Pentathlon.
