Box Score LANCASTER, PA. – The Bryn Mawr tennis team played a conference match against the Franklin and Marshall Diplomats earlier Saturday morning.
Kelli Eng and
Lowrey West won their doubles, with
Sophie Fenster winning her singles, but the Diplomats took home the win, 7-2.
Highlights:
- At No. 2 doubles, Eng and West won their match (8-2), but Franklin and Marshall took a [2-1] lead going into singles.
- No. 1 singles, Fenster (6-1, 6-1) finished the day with a second win.
- After losing the first set at No. 3 singles, Lowrey West fought hard and won the second set, but splitting the third set, F&M won the match.
- Franklin and Marshall moved forward in the season with a 4-9 record, while Bryn Mawr dropped to 5-3.
The Owls will return on Tuesday, April 9th, for a home match against Haverford.
