Box Score WESTMINSTER, MD – The Owls tennis team traveled to McDaniel earlier Friday afternoon for their final away matchup of the spring season. The Owls picked up a 9-0 win over McDaniel on the day, winning each of their nine matches in dominant fashion.
Highlights:
- The Owls started the day with three wins in doubles play. Bryn Mawr picked the first win at third doubles due to a withdraw from McDaniel Wynn Bryant and Kelly Cole paired up to take an 8-2 win at first doubles, while Jill Hohmann and Macey Ellis finished with the same result at second doubles.
- In singles action, it was Lilly Pfister who got the win for Bryn Mawr. Pfister grabbed a dominant 6-0, 6-0 win at fifth singles.
- The rest of the singles matches were played to an eight-game pro set. Bryant refused to drop a single game at the top singles spot. Cole won her match 8-2 at second singles while Ellis (8-2) and Hohmann (8-4) finished respectively at No. four and three singles.
The Owls will return to action tomorrow at home for their final match of the season against Muhlenberg as Bryn Mawr celebrates seniors Bryant and Cole.
