LANCASTER, PA- The Bryn Mawr College swimming team kicked off the Centennial Conference championship weekend on Thursday evening with strong performances in the 200 Medley Relay and 800 Freestyle Relay. After just two events, the Owls sit in 7
th place with 52 team points and have already etched their names into the program record book.
Highlights:
- Bryn Mawr opened the night with a standout showing in the 200 Medley Relay. The A relay team of Maya Madden, Samantha Ings, Jane Farrell, and Dalia Ibrahim placed second in their heat with a time of 1:55.42 — a mark that ranks among the top 10 times in program history. The B relay squad of Chloe Amos, Kayla Bass, Shelby Jackson, and Lexi Mireider followed with a solid 2:01.30 finish.
- The momentum carried into the 800 Freestyle Relay, where the A team of Shelby Jackson, Mina Doebele, Dugan Dugan, and Amos finished 5th  in their heat with a time of 8:31.40. Their effort also secured a spot in the program's top 10 all-time performances.
 With two top 10 times already recorded and 52 points on the board, the Owls made an immediate impact on opening night and look to build on that momentum as the Centennial Conference competition continues tomorrow with sessions at 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM EST.
