Owls Close 2025–26 Season with Top-10 Marks at Centennial Conference Championships

LANCASTER, PA - Bryn Mawr swimming delivered an impressive showing on the final day of competition at the Centennial Conference Championships, highlighted by personal bests, Top-10 program marks, and strong relay performances against some of the conference's top competitors.

Highlights:
  • Mina Doebele opened the day for the Owls in the 1650-yard freestyle, placing 13th in 20:02.86 to score points for Bryn Mawr. Lexi Mireider followed with a 15th-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle, adding to the team total before Shoshana Peck rounded out the Owls' efforts in the event with a time of 20:57.89.
  • Chloe Amos led Bryn Mawr in the 200-yard backstroke with a 15th-place finish, touching in a personal-record 2:11.16 that moved her from ninth to second all-time in the program's Top-10 Times Record Book. Kayla Bass and Peck also represented the Owls in the 200-yard backstroke, posting times of 2:24.15 and 2:45.89, respectively while Bass's time was a personal record.
  • Jane Farrell secured her place in the program's Top-10 Times Record Book in the 200-yard butterfly with a personal record of 2:14.79, earning a 12th-place finish. Shelby Jackson competed alongside Farrell in the 200-yard butterfly and contributed a time of 2:35.40.
  • Four Owls took to the pool in the 100-yard freestyle, led by Maya Madden's 24th-place finish in 56.02, followed by Dalia Ibrahim (56.84), Dugan Dugan (57.09), and Adrianna Porter-Meachem (1:01.33).
  • Samantha Ings was the lone Owl in the 200-yard breaststroke, recording a time of 2:41.07 to place 22nd overall.
  • The championship weekend concluded with the 400-yard freestyle relay, where the quartet of Farrell, Madden, Jackson, and Ibrahim placed 13th in 3:48.84, earning a spot in Bryn Mawr's Top-10 Times Record Book. The relay team of Porter-Meachem, Doebele, Bass, and Mireider also competed in the event, finishing in 4:05.35 to round out the Owls' final race of the meet.
This marks the conclusion of the Owls' final meet of the 2025–26 season, as Bryn Mawr closes the year with record-setting performances and strong championship swims that underscore the program's continued growth. The meet also served as a fitting sendoff for the team's senior class, as Kayla Bass, Jane Farrell, and Maya Madden prepare to graduate in May 2026!
