MERCER COUNTY, NJ- The Bryn Mawr rowing team traveled to the Mercer County boat house in New Jersey for the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference Championships on Sunday. For the first time in program history, the Owls competed with three Varsity 8 boats and were the only women's team to do so at Championships this year. The Owls earned 2nd place and earned 32 points on the day for the highest team points scored at MARC Championships in Bryn Mawr program history.  

Highlights: 

• In the first heat of the Women's V8 event, the Varsity 8 team sailed to a 1st place finish and beat both Washington College and Stockton handily, finishing in 7:45.063. Later in the day as the rain picked up, the crew competed in the Women's V8 final and earned a hard-fought 2nd place finish and a medal for the Owls with a time of 7:26.231. 

• The 2nd and 3rd Varsity 8 crews competed in the Women's 2V8 and 3V8 final. The 2nd Varsity 8 team secured a 2nd place medal for Bryn Mawr, finishing in 7:57.301.  

• The Owls' 3rd Varsity 8 boat earned a medal for their performance with a time of 8:41.585.
