ALLENTOWN, PA – The Bryn Mawr track & field team had a strong start in the Outdoor Track & Field Centennial Conference Championships earlier Friday at Muhlenberg with placements in the hammer throw and 10k.

Highlights:

• Nora Steil threw over 30m for the second time this season in the hammer throw to finish with a mark of 30.16m and a 17^th place finish.
• In the 10k, senior captain Evelyn Cheng continued her success in the long-distance races to run a new PR of 41.18 for 11^th place.

The Owls will return tomorrow to compete in the second day of Conference Championships.
