CHESTER, Pa. – The Owls track & field program capped off their season with one final entry into the Swarthmore Last Chance Meet earlier Monday evening. Bryn Mawr featured one athlete in action at the event, as recent graduate Kass Wojcik put on one final excellent performance to cap off her Owls career.
Wojcik competed in the 400 meter dash in the jam-packed meet. Despite suffering the uncertainty provided by some stormy weather in the region on Monday, the Owls senior battled through to put up one of her best times ever in the event. Wojcik crossed the line in a time of 1:00.55 on the evening, good enough for fourth place in her heat. That time is the second-fastest 400 for Wojcik in her career.
With the result, Bryn Mawr closes the book on another impressive season. The Owls got tremendous performances across the board this year, and the team will certainly miss the presence of Wojcik, Amelia McDonnell, Carey Parker, and Izzy Ravaglia, their four seniors. However, the team will look to keep things progressing when they return to action next academic year!
"Kass was supported by members of the Wojcik and McDonnell families. Many thanks to those who made the trip and all who support our program from afar." – Coach Hewitt
