Pasia Represents Owls at Blue Jay Tune Up

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - The Owls track & field squad sent Kris Pasia over to central Pennsylvania earlier Saturday afternoon as the team's lone competitor at the Blue Jay Tune Up. Despite being the only Owl to compete at the meet - due to the day's May Day festivities on campus - Pasia still made it a very worthwhile trip as she posted a pair of excellent performances on the day.

Pasia got things started by taking fifth place in the 400 meter dash. The first-year posted a time of 1:02.70 in the event, good enough not only for a top-5 finish, but also a new collegiate personal record. Pasia then followed that up by setting an all-time personal record in the 200 meter dash, tying for third place in that event. Her time of 27.70 was also good enough to take a win in her heat in the event.

With today's results the Owls have now wrapped up their regular season outdoor competitions. The team will now gear up for the Centennial Conference Championship meet, which is set to start on Friday, May 6th at Ursinus College.
