#18 Washington Downs Lacrosse in Conference Action

BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The 18th ranked team in the country, the Washington College Shorewomen, cruised to a 23-0 win Wednesday afternoon in Centennial Conference women's lacrosse action.

Washington jumped out to an 11-0 lead just ten minutes into the game. They tacked on five more over the final twenty minutes of the half to take a commanding 16-0 lead at the half.

In the second, the Shorewomen tacked on seven more goals as they claimed their 10th win of the season.

Leading Washington with three goals each was Marissa Restaino, Corinne Ziccardi and Sydney Slavin. Molly Shipley handed-out seven assists.

For the Owls, freshman Georgina Dominique and junior Kathleen Magner took one shot each. Magner led the Owls with five caused turnovers, four draws and four groundballs. Six other Owls scooped-up one groundball a piece. Sophomore goalie Grace Baelen-King posted two saves.

The Owls will travel to rival Haverford on Saturday, April 13, for a 1:00 pm showdown with the Fords.
