Box Score WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Bryn Mawr College lacrosse team opened their 2013 Centennial Conference slate as they traveled to McDaniel College Saturday afternoon. The Green Terror tallied 13 goals in the first-half en route to an 18-2 victory.
It took McDaniel only 52-seconds to get on the board as Anna Beaudry netted an unassisted goal. The Terror went on to added 10 more goals over the next twenty-three minutes to take a commanding 11-0 lead.
Sophomore Zoe Fisher got the Owls on the board with 5:50 remaining in the half with an unassisted goal.
McDaniel tacked-on two more goals before the half came to an end to take a 13-1 lead into the intermission.
The Green Terror added five goals in the second-half to take an 18-1 lead with 8:45 to play. Just over a minute later, junior Kathleen Magner took a pass from sophomore Ashton Dwyer as she flung her shot past Kate Goldstein.
Magner led the Owls on the day with seven draws while sophomore goalie Grace Baelen-King and freshman Claire Johnson scooped-up four groundballs each. Baelen-King posted four saves in the net.
The Owls are back to action when they host Arcadia on Tuesday, March 19, at 4:00 pm.
