BRYN MAWR, Pa.– Visiting Ursinus College netted eight first-half goals as the Bears blanked the Owls, 14-0, Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference action on the Main Line.

In a back-and-forth battle over the opening 15 minutes of play, Ursinus held a slim 2-0 lead with goals from Taylor Egolf (27:30) and Caroline Cannon (24:14). However, over a span of just more than 10 minutes, the Bears unloaded for six goals including a natural hat trick by Amber Moyer.

The Bears held on to take an 8-0 lead at the intermission.

In the second, Ursinus was led by Kitt Dawson with four goals, including a natural hat trick, with three consecutive goals. Egolf and Lauren Garganio added one goal each in the half as Ursinus picked-up their sixth win of season and third in conference play.

For the Owls, senior goalie Kate Flaming turned away nine shots while sophomore classmates Katherine Kilmer and Kathleen Magner took two shots each. Flaming, along with classmate Miranda Gordon-Zigel and junior Hannah Lehman scooped-up three ground balls. Gordon-Zigel caused three turnovers.

Bryn Mawr returns to action on Tuesday, April 3, when they travel to Washington College for a 7:00 pm showdown with the Shorewomen.
