Box Score BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Senior Natalie Chrismer and freshman Zoe Fishertallied one goal each as Bryn Mawr fell to visiting McDaniel College, 2-18, in both team's Centennial Conference opener.
It didn't take long for the Green Terror to get on the board as McDaniel's Paige Messersmith netted an unassisted goal 57-seconds into the game. The Terror tacked on three more to take a 4-0 lead with 25:11 left to play.
Fisher tallied Bryn Mawr's first goal of the game on a free position shot when Chelesea Watkins was called for a foul inside the 8-meter line.
McDaniel added three more goals before Chrismer tallied her fourth goal of the season, unassisted, with 14:52 to play.
The Green Terror added six unanswered goals over the final 12:11 of the half to take a commanding 13-2 lead.
In the second, McDaniel added five more goals to pick-up their second victory of the season and first Centennial Conference.
Leading the Terror was Danielle Entrot with four goals and a pair of assists. Mary Tokolish added three goals while three other scored two goals. Bridget Bopst handed-out a game-high three assists.
Senior goalie Kate Flaming posted nine saves and scooped-up five ground balls. Sophomore Kathleen Magner added four ground balls and four draw controls while Chrismer and classmate Miranda Gordon-Zigel tallied three draws each.
The Owls are back to action when they host Widener University on Tuesday, March 13, at 4:00 pm on Applebee Field.
