BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Bryn Mawr (0-3) continued its season after dropping a hard-fought 1-0 battle to undefeated Marywood University (4-0) at Applebee Field.
Highlights:
- The Pacers pushed offensively out of the gate against the Owls, holding a 10-1 shot advantage in the first half before out shooting Bryn Mawr 10-0 in the second half and forcing goalkeeper Lily Blackman to make several difficult saves.
- Alexandra Morales contributed offensively for the Owls, registering a shot on goal.
- After a scoreless first half, Marywood found the breakthrough in the 49th minute with a goal by Maura Kirkpatrick following a corner-kick scramble off a delivery from Kylie McDonald.
- The Owls searched for an equalizer following the goal but ultimately fell short against the Pacers.
- Blackman anchored the Owls defensively with five saves in 67 minutes of action, while relief goalkeeper Silver Harris added two saves in her collegiate debut.
