Courtney Morris Promoted to Assistant Director of Athletics

BRYN MAWR, PA- Bryn Mawr College Director of Athletics, Katie Tarr, has announced the promotion of Courtney Morris to Assistant Director of Athletics.

In her new role, Morris will lead programming and initiatives centered on student-athlete wellness and well-being while also supporting wellness efforts across the Bryn Mawr campus community. Morris will work closely with all Owls student-athletes, fostering personal growth and development beyond competition and helping create a holistic student-athlete experience.

Morris has been an integral member of the Bryn Mawr Athletics staff, serving as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and Fitness Center Director. Through her commitment to the physical, mental, and personal development of student-athletes, Morris has built meaningful relationships across the department and has played a vital role in supporting the success of Bryn Mawr teams.

"Courtney is a perfect fit for this position and will make an immediate impact on our student-athlete experience," said Tarr. 

As Assistant Director of Athletics, Morris will oversee initiatives that promote student-athlete wellness, leadership development, and overall well-being while collaborating with campus partners to enhance resources and programming for the Bryn Mawr community. In addition to leading wellness initiatives, Morris will oversee the College's physical education curriculum, helping develop and manage programming that promotes lifelong health, wellness, and active living for the campus.

The department will immediately begin a search for a new Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and Fitness Center Director.
