Bryn Mawr College

MaryAnn Schiller was promoted to the position of Associate Director of Athletics at Bryn Mawr College in the summer of 2026. Schiller previously served as the Assistant Director of Athletics. Her resume speaks to a storied career in athletics, particularly in the lacrosse world. Schiller played both lacrosse and field hockey at Penn State University, making it to the Final Four in both sports. She was a star member of Penn State's 1987 and 1989 National Championship winning teams. Schiller earned national All-American Honors, and is still in the top ten in school history in goals scored.
 

Schiller would go on to become an assistant coach at Swarthmore College and TCNJ, where she earned her M.Ed., before returning to Penn State as an assistant coach. Schiller then served as head coach at Boston College and Haverford College before her retirement from coaching.
 

In Schiller's position as Associate Director of Athletics, she leads facilities and operations, and departmental projects, while serving as the primary liaison with Conference and Events. Schiller oversees athletic training, athletic communications, and strength and conditioning, while coordinating compliance efforts, supporting enrollment and recruiting initiatives, strengthening alumni engagement through her work with the Alumni Relations and Development office.
