Bryn Mawr Posts Top Finishes at Haverford Midweek Meet

HAVERFORD, PA – The Bryn Mawr outdoor track & field team turned in a strong midweek showing at the Haverford Midweek Meet on Tuesday, highlighted by a dominant performance in the triple jump and a podium finish in the 100m hurdles.

Highlights:
  • SPRINTS/HURDLES: Dahlia Nemes paced the Owls in the 100m with a sixth-place finish in 13.69, while Kayla Spencer followed closely in eighth at 14.26. Mika Heshiki delivered a standout performance in the 100m hurdles, earning third place with a time of 17.34. Heshiki doubled back in the 200m to take sixth (28.27), just ahead of Nemes in eighth (28.82), with both Owls recording personal bests. First-year Allie Lawson also competed in the 200m, crossing in 30.39 for 15th place.
  • JUMPS: Bryn Mawr dominated the triple jump, with Jess Johnson claiming first overall with a mark of 10.63m and Molly Fancher securing second at 9.76m. Johnson continued her strong day in the long jump, finishing second with a leap of 5.01m, while Fancher added an eighth-place finish at 4.49m.
  • THROWS: The Owls closed out the meet in the throwing events. Lauren Pritt placed eighth in the javelin (18.25m). Tula Reihman notched a personal record in the hammer throw with a sixth-place mark of 27.68m before adding a fourth-place finish in the shot put (10.34m).
