ORLANDO, FL – The Bryn Mawr tennis team continued competition at the USTA National Campus on Wednesday morning, edging Wheaton College (MA), 4–3.
Highlights
- Bryn Mawr secured the opening doubles point. The No. 1 pair of Claire Emanuel and Kelli Eng earned a 7-5 win, while the No. 2 duo of seniors Sophie Fenster and Gioanna Zhao followed with a 6-4 victory.
- In No. 1 singles, Fenster dominated her match, earning a 6-1, 6-0 win.
- Eng added another point at No. 2 singles, battling to a 6-4, 6-4 victory.
- First-year Lily Braswell claimed a three-set thriller, winning the first set 6-2 before dropping the second 2-6. She secured the point with a 10-7 super tiebreak in the deciding set.
