PA – Bryn Mawr soccer continued its unbeaten start to the 2025 season with a 3–0 victory over Cedar Crest on Wednesday afternoon on Applebee Field. The Owls dominated possession and fired off 22 shots while first-year goalkeeper
Lily Blackman secured her second collegiate shutout.
Highlights:
- Bryn Mawr broke the deadlock late in the first half when Ciara Lalor buried the first goal of her collegiate career in the 36th minute.
- The Owls wasted little time extending their lead after the break, as Beatriz da Silva struck in the 47th minute for her second tally of the year. Bryn Mawr sealed the result in the 60th minute when Lourdes Sankar finished a feed from Michaela Gwozdz for her second goal of the year.
- On the other end, Blackman stopped all three shots she faced to keep Cedar Crest (0–3) off the board. The Falcons' goalkeeper Bella Bozen turned in a strong effort with 10 saves.
- The Owls held a commanding 22–3 edge in shots, and a 3–1 advantage in corner kicks, marking their third consecutive shutout this season.
