SWARTHMORE, PA – The Bryn Mawr soccer team opened Centennial Conference road play on Wednesday evening with a strong defensive effort against nationally ranked No. 19 Swarthmore. The Owls held the Garnet to just two goals—their best defensive result against Swarthmore since 2021—before ultimately determined falling 2-0.

- The Owls' back line, anchored by Sarah Walker, Hailey Ferrier, Alexandra Morales, and Lanie Thompson, worked tirelessly to limit Swarthmore's chances despite the Garnet firing off 11 shots in the first 45 minutes.
- At 17:22, Daniela Dosen registered Bryn Mawr's first shot of the game, narrowly missing the target.
- Goalkeeper Lily Blackman made two early saves to keep the game level, but Swarthmore's Celia Kanellakos broke through in the 34th minute to give the Garnet a 1-0 halftime lead.
- In the second half, Dosen continued to press the Garnet defense, taking her second shot in the 55th minute, which sailed just wide.
- Swarthmore doubled their lead in the 71st minute despite the Owls' relentless midfield and defensive pressure.
