HAVERFORD, PA – The Bryn Mawr College tennis team hit the road Wednesday afternoon for a Centennial Conference matchup against rival Haverford College. Despite several hard-fought matches, the Owls fell by a score of 6-1.
Highlights:
- The Owls opened the day with a competitive showing in doubles play, but the Fords claimed all three matches to secure the opening point.
- At No. 6 singles, Lilly Pfister delivered one of her strongest performances of the season. After dominating the first set 6-1, she dropped the second 4-6 before rallying for a 10-6 tiebreak win in the third set.
- Kelli Eng (No. 4 singles) and Claire Emanuel (No. 5 singles) both put up determined efforts in their matches.
