BRYN MAWR, PA – The Bryn Mawr tennis team put up a strong fight against Virginia Wesleyan on their home courts but ultimately fell 5-2 in Saturday's match. The Owls excelled in doubles, securing two of the three matches, but Virginia Wesleyan dominated in singles play to claim the overall victory.

- The duo of Sophie Fenster and Fernanda Hurtado Mariscal shined in doubles, securing a convincing 6-4 win at the No. 1 spot.
- At No. 2 doubles, Lowrey West and Claire Emanuel delivered an impressive 7-6, 7-3 tiebreaker win, giving Bryn Mawr momentum heading into singles play.
- Fenster continued her strong performance in singles, securing Bryn Mawr's lone win at the top spot with a commanding 6-4, 6-4 victory over Virginia Wesleyan's Tuva Flink.
- The Owls struggled to gain ground in the other singles matches, with Gioanna Zhao battling in a marathon match before ultimately falling 7-5, 6-7, 1-6 at No. 6 singles.
