BRYN MAWR, PA. – The Bryn Mawr Owls hosted a Bi-Co matchup Wednesday night against the Haverford Fords, in a spirited matchup at the Class of 1958 Gymnasium. Despite a gritty and tough effort, the Owls fell 52-44.

Jessica Smith led the way for the Owls with a standout performance, scoring 15 points while adding eight rebounds and four steals. Michelle Jiang provided a spark off the bench, contributing six points and seven rebounds, while Hannah Binder and Cameron Richter added key buckets to keep Bryn Mawr in the game.

The game opened with a strong start from Haverford, as the Fords took control early with a 20-9 lead in the first quarter. The Owls responded in the second quarter with tighter defense, holding Haverford to ten points and narrowing the deficit to single digits.

Despite their valiant effort, the Fords' dominance on the boards (39 total) and second-chance opportunities proved too much for the Owls to overcome. Haverford's Audrey Jakway led all scorers with 17 points and added 14 rebounds, while Shae Mercer chipped in 11 points.
Bryn Mawr will return to action on Saturday, February 15th as they host McDaniel College at the Class of 1958 Gymnasium for their Senior Day game. The festivities will begin before the 1:00 PM tip-off and the Owls will recognize four seniors and their families.
