11/23/2025 10:10:00 PM

LANCASTER, PA — Bryn Mawr College wrapped up the final day of the Franklin & Marshall Invite with a series of strong swims, highlighted by multiple additions to the program's Top-10 Times list. Shelby Jackson and Jane Farrell advanced to the evening finals in the 200-yard butterfly, while distance swimmers Lexi Mireider, Mina Doebele, Shoshana Peck, and Maya Madden earned evening swims in the 1650-yard freestyle.

Morning Session Highlights:
  • Jackson led the way for the Owls with an impressive morning, qualifying for the finals in the 200-yard butterfly after taking 11th in 2:15.21. She also placed 38th in the 100-yard freestyle (56.21). Both swims secured new placements for Jackson in Bryn Mawr's Top-10 Times.
  • Farrell followed with a strong outing of her own, placing 14th in the 200-yard butterfly and finishing 20th in the 100-yard individual medley (1:05.15), contributing five points to the team. Farrell also advanced to the 200 fly finals.
  • Chloe Amos continued her early-season momentum, finishing 38th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:16.90) and 63rd in the 100-yard freestyle (59.23). Her backstroke performance improved her standing in the program's Top-10 Times after first breaking into the list earlier this month.
  • In the 1650-yard freestyle, the Owls showcased strong depth as Mireider (20:33.07), Doebele (20:38.92), Peck (20:53.24), and Madden (21:00.38) finished 29th through 32nd.
Evening Session Highlights:
  • Farrell capped off the meet with an 11th-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly finals, scoring 16 points with a 2:17.00 effort. Jackson also competed in the evening heat but was disqualified.
  • The 400-yard freestyle relay of Farrell, Amos, Jackson, and Dalia Ibrahim placed 23rd in 3:49.25, adding four points and securing a new Top-10 Time in program history. The Owls' B relay — Mireider, Adrianna Porter Meachem, Doebele, and Madden — also performed well, finishing 26th in 4:03.22.
  • In the 1650-yard freestyle finals, Mireider, Doebele, Peck, and Madden returned to compete again, placing 37th through 40th in a tight grouping to close out the evening.
The Owls will return to the pool on Saturday, December 6th as they compete in the Gettysburg Invite. Tune into the meet live on gobrynmawr.com and follow @bmcathletics on social media to stay up to date with your favorite Bryn Mawr teams!
