CAMDEN, NJ – The Bryn Mawr tennis team traveled over the bridge Friday afternoon to take on Rutgers-Camden at Rutgers-Camden Community Park. The Owls swept doubles play and followed up with five singles wins to earn a 6-1 victory over the Raptors.

Highlights:

• The No. 1 doubles pair of senior Sophie Fenster and first-year Giselle Gandakusuma set the tone early with a 6-2 win.
• At No. 3 doubles, first-years Bianca Vesuna and Shay Villegas clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 victory, before Kelli Eng and Claire Emanuel completed the sweep at No. 2 doubles with a 6-3 win.
• Fenster went undefeated on the day, securing a 6-0, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles.
  First-year Lily Braswell picked up her first collegiate singles win for the Owls at No. 6 with a 6-1, 6-4 performance.
• Emanuel sealed the match for Bryn Mawr with a dominant 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles.
• Vesuna (6-0, 7-5) and Eng (6-3, 6-3) added the final two points for the Owls at No. 5 and No. 2 singles respectively.
