BRYN MAWR, PA - Bryn Mawr volleyball had a strong showing earlier Saturday against Centennial Conference Dickinson College. Bryn Mawr posted one of their most efficient blocking performances of the season, recording four team blocks and keeping the Red Devils off rhythm through long rallies, before ultimately falling 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-13) inside the Class of 1958 Gymnasium.
Highlights:
- Bryn Mawr opened the first set with early energy, capitalizing on a Dickinson service error to take the first point and building leads through key kills from Lyra Aubry and Adelaide Grace.
- The Owls and Red Devils traded points through eight ties in the opening frame, highlighted by Emma Loller's service ace and a pair of kills from Grace to keep the set tight at 15–15.
- Setter Anna Dravk directed the offense with 10 assists, distributing the ball efficiently across the front line.
- Grace led the Bryn Mawr attack with five kills and a .286 hitting percentage, adding a service ace and four digs for a strong all-around performance.
- Elise Perry hit .333 with three kills and contributed at the net with two total blocks, combining with Loller for a block assist in the second set that energized the home crowd.
- Aubry added four kills at a .286 clip, while Joelle Wise chipped in three kills and a steady defensive effort.
- Defensively, the Owls tallied 37 digs, led by Charlotte Mullen with eight and Micah Sheppard with six.
- Bryn Mawr's blocking improved as the match progressed, notching four team blocks, three of which came in the third set.
