WESTMINSTER, MD – The Bryn Mawr soccer team played a conference match-up earlier Saturday at McDaniel. The Green Terror scored in the opening eight minutes of play and followed up with a second goal early in the second half to win, 2-0.
Highlights:
- McDaniel gained an early offensive lead with the first shot of the game at 0:39, but it was saved by Bryn Mawr goalkeeper Kamonlak Pliwma. Pliwma went on to collect four saves throughout the matchup.
- Two minutes later, the Green Terror earned a corner kick, but it wasn't until minute 8:08 that McDaniel's efforts were awarded with a goal by Jessica Weinoldt.
- In the second half, the Green Terror were back with an early offensive lead of a corner kick and two shots. Bryn Mawr earned their own corner kick a minute later, but the Owls did not manage a shot opportunity. At 52:10, McDaniel scored their second goal of the day, and the Owls trailed by two.
- In the last minute of play, Bryn Mawr Beatriz da Silva made one last shot for the Owls, but it was saved by McDaniel goalkeeper Mack Langlo.
