BETHLEHEM, PA-  The Owls traveled to Bethlehem, PA on Thursday evening where they faced the Greyhounds of Moravian University. Bryn Mawr met a strong Greyhound's team where Moravian earned a kill percentage of 50% on the match. The Owls fell in three sets to the home team.  

Highlights: 

• The first set began back and forth between the visiting Owls and the home team. A few errors from Bryn Mawr allowed the Greyhounds to get ahead early on, 17-7. Kills from Elise Perry and Emma Loller set the Owls within 10 but Moravian's early attack secured a set one win for the Greyhounds, 25-13. 

• Bryn Mawr came out firing in set two, winning the first four points behind a kill from Zara Kepler and a service ace from sophomore setter, Omi Oliver. Oliver also earned 16 assists on the night. Moravian battled against the Owls and took back the lead until Loller earned another kill to tie up the set, 7-7.  

• The Greyhound's pulled away from Bryn Mawr after Loller's kill to increase their lead to 15-10. Moravian did not allow another Bryn Mawr point until Perry connected for a kill, setting the Owls to 12 points to Moravian's 19. The gap was not closed in set two and the Greyhound's won, 25-13. Loller and Perry recorded seven and six kills respectively on the match. 

• Moravian and Bryn Mawr traded points during the start of set number three, however two aces from Moravian's Caroline Melillo set the Greyhound's on a run. The Owls reached within six points of Moravian within the final set, but ultimately the home team secured the win, 25-17. 

Bryn Mawr volleyball faces its first Centennial Conference match-up in the Class of 1958 Gymnasium on Saturday, September 28th at 5:00 PM EST against the visiting Red Devils of Dickinson College.
