LANCASTER, PA – The Bryn Mawr soccer team traveled to Franklin & Marshall earlier Saturday to compete in their first Centennial Conference game of the season. The Diplomats excelled on the day to set the Owls back, 6-0.
Highlights:
- It was a potent run for the Diplomats as they moved the scoreboard thrice in each half.
- First-year Beatriz da Silva and sophomore Ciara Grimes took the lone shots for Bryn Mawr in the first and second half respectively, but neither connected.
- Michaela Gwozdz, Lanie Thompson, and goalkeeper Maeve Slemko played the entire 90 minutes of play.
- Goalkeeper Slemko made a total of 10 saves against the Diplomats.
