COLLEGEVILLE, PA – The Bryn Mawr tennis team traveled to Ursinus earlier Saturday for a Centennial Conference match-up. Two Owls, Lowrey West and Fernanda Hurtado Mariscal went undefeated on the day and Bryn Mawr clinched the match, 5-4.

Highlights:

• The No. 2 doubles team of West and Kelli Eng brought in the Owls' first win of the day with a score of 8-2.
• Sophie Fenster and Hurtado Mariscal followed suit to give Bryn Mawr a 2-1 lead after an 8-6 win at the top doubles position.
• Hurtado Mariscal won her second match of the day at No. 5 singles to extend the Owls' lead.
• Wynn Bryant and West finished next at the second and third top singles positions respectively. Each Owl won their match in two sets and helped clinch the win against the Bears.
• The Owls move to a 6-7 overall record and 1-6 in Conference play.

The Owls will return next week for their final matches of the 2023-24 season.
