ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Bryn Mawr basketball team traveled to Muhlenberg earlier Wednesday to compete in their final away game of the 2023-24 season. The Owls kept a close second quarter, each team adding 17 points in the third, but the Mules kept the lead to win the evening 66-42.
Highlights:
- Jessica Smith added double digits to Bryn Mawr's scoreboard for the eighth game in a row and led the game with 16 points while Emily Unger led Muhlenberg with 15 points.
- The Owls collected seven steals, four of which were earned by Smith. The other three were recorded by Hannah Mack, Daphne Bracker-Sturm, and Cameron Richter.
- Eight Mules added to the scoreboard in the first half to record a 31-15 lead in the opening 20 minutes of the game.
- Both teams added 17 points to the scoreboard in the third quarter. Mack scored two 3-pointers, Michelle Jiang recorded two layups, and Smith added four baskets.
The Owls will return home to compete in their final game of the season on Saturday for a 1pm start time against Gettysburg in the Class of 1958 Gymnasium.
