Owls Conclude 2023-2024 Season At Home Against Gettysburg

BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The Bryn Mawr basketball team ended their season welcoming the Gettysburg Bullets to the Class of 1958 Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon. The Owls outscored the Bullets 17-16 in the fourth quarter but ultimately fell to Gettysburg, 84-42.

Highlights:
  • Jessica Smith was the leading scorer of the day, putting up 19 points for Bryn Mawr. Gettysburg's Jameson Mott led the Bullets with 13 points.
  • Michelle Jiang led Bryn Mawr's defense with four steals.
  • Smith ends the season as the most prolific point getter for the Owls, leading with 380 total points.
  • Hannah Mack led the Owls in blocks this campaign, tallying a total of 24.
  • Jiang made one 3-pointer this afternoon, completing the season with a total of 22 3-point baskets.
The 2023-2024 season was a record-breaking year for the Bryn Mawr basketball team. The Owls broke the school record for the most points in a single contest, scoring 83 points against the University of Valley Forge in their November 11th contest. First-year Cameron Richter set a new school record for 3-point field goal percentage, making 71.4% of her 3-point shots against Muhlenberg on November 28th. The Owls will not be graduating any seniors and all players are expected to be back on the court for the 2024-2025 season.
