BALTIMORE, MD. – Bryn Mawr basketball faced off against Johns Hopkins on Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference play. Despite a strong effort from the Owls, the Blue Jays secured a 91-35 victory at Goldfarb Gym.

Johns Hopkins set the tone early. The Blue Jays forced turnovers and dominated in transition. Johns Hopkins outscored the Owls 24-7, with Michaela O'Neil scoring eight quick points to establish an early lead. Bryn Mawr got on the board with a three-pointer from Hannah Govert and solid defensive rebounding from Michelle Jiang.

Bryn Mawr regrouped during the break and came out with newfound offensive energy. Allison Stoudt shone with two three-pointers, leading the Owls to their best quarter of the game with 14 points. Stoudt chipped in eight points for Bryn Mawr, a career-high for the first-year. Despite their improved play, Johns Hopkins kept pace against the Owls.

The final period saw balanced play from both teams, with Bryn Mawr continuing to battle until the final whistle. Smith added key baskets and rebounds, finishing the game with eight points and five boards. However, the Blue Jays' depth proved decisive, as they cruised to a 91-35 win.
