BRYN MAWR, Pa. - The Bryn Mawr volleyball team secured their 29
th win in program history over Rosemont Thursday with a 3-1 win (25-15, 25-19, 16-25, 25-13) at Alumnae Hall and extend their win streak against the Ravens to three.
The Owls were led by
Emma Loller '27 with 17 kills and only one error for to hit .571 percent for the match. Sophomore
Elise Perry added 10 in the win as Bryn Mawr hit .213 percent as a squad.
Bryn Mawr split time between setters
Anna Dravk '26 and
Omi Oliver '27 as they dished 20 and 14 assists respectively. Four Owls tallied two aces at the service line while Feldman recorded 13 digs.
Highlights:
- Bryn Mawr opened the match hitting an impressive .269 clip in the first set, its best performance in a set this season. Loller notched five kills in the opening set.
- The Owls' offense continued to click in the set as they tallied nine kills and aces by Perry, Dravk, and Micah Sheppard '26.
- The Ravens bounced back with a .294 hitting percentage of their own to bring the match into a fourth set.
- The fourth set featured a string of five points for the Owls, in part to three kills by Feldman, giving the Owls a 10 point lead. Their greatest lead would come at 23-11 from a kill by Loller, who recorded six kills in the final set.
Bryn Mawr now moves to a 3-5 overall record while Rosemont drops to 0-7 overall.
The volleyball team will return to action on Saturday for a 1pm game against Moravian at the Class of 1958 Gymnasium. Â
