BRYN ATHYN, Pa. –
Emma Loller '27 led the Owls' offense to a 3-0 victory over Bryn Athyn Tuesday evening at Asplundh Field House. Loller, a first-year from Los Gatos, California, recorded seven kills and two service aces.
Highlights:
- Setter Anna Dravk '26 competed in her first match of the season with the Owls in which she recorded 14 assists and two service aces.
- The Owls recorded their highest number of points (41) this season and their second highest number of kills (30) this season, one short of their match at Gwynedd Mercy (9/7/2023).
- Bryn Mawr also tallied their highest number of aces this season at an away game with aces by Dravk (2), Micah Sheppard '26 (2), Loller (2), and Zoe Boxill '25 (1).
- Loller and Boxill hit their highest attack percentage this season at .462 and .188 respectively.
- All three sets were tight with the Lions, but the Owls managed a nine and seven rally rampage to win the first two sets respectively (25-19, 25-23).
- The third set remained tight until the Owls took a slight lead at 15-11 before collecting their longest lead of the set by eight points (21-13).
Bryn Mawr moves to a 2-5 record while Bryn Athyn drops to 0-9.
The Owls will return on Thursday evening for an away match at Rosemont.
