BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The Bryn Mawr tennis program competed in their first home match of the Fall 2023 season earlier Friday afternoon as they welcomed Rutgers-Camden to campus. The Owls entered singles with a 3-0 lead and soon earned their largest margin of victory against the Raptors (9-0).
Highlights:
- The Owls made quick work in doubles and refused to allow the Raptors to win a single game.
- Due to an injury distained at the beginning of doubles, Rutgers-Camden was forced to retire from No. 1 doubles and award the Owls a walkover at No. 6 singles.
- Wynn Bryant '24 and Kelli Eng '26 remain undefeated in singles this season to win their matches 6-0, 6-0 and 6-1, 6-0 respectively.
- Three Owls also remain undefeated in doubles: Eng, Sophie Fenster '26, and Michelle Han '27.
- In total, Bryn Mawr only gave up six games to the Raptors.
- The Owls moved to a 3-0 record while Rutgers-Camden drops to 1-1.
Due to Saturday's forecast, the Bryn Mawr tennis program has postponed their doubleheader tomorrow until further notice.
