BALTIMORE, Md. – The Bryn Mawr tennis program traveled to Centennial Conference leader Johns Hopkins to compete in their second conference match-up of the season.
Kelli Eng '26 took five games in her singles match against her Blue Jay opponent, but the Owls were unable to win a match against the 14-time Centennial Conference Champion and the Blue Jays won 9-0.
Doubles
Singles
- Ellis was the first match to finish at sixth singles (6-0, 6-1).
- Cole managed one game from her fourth singles opponent Emily Javedan, but it was not enough, and Johns Hopkins claimed victory. However, four matches remained on court.
- At first singles, MaryBeth Hurley refused to give up a game to Bryant and West took one game from her opponent at second singles.
- Hurtado at third singles managed two games from her Blue Jay opponent before falling 6-2, 6-0.
- For the second match in a row, Eng remained the lone Owl still standing. Competing at fifth singles, the first year lost the first set (6-3) and managed to win another two games before Johns Hopkins won the last match of the day.
Johns Hopkins moves to 9-3 overall and 4-0 in conference while the Owls drop to 6-2 and 0-2 in conference.
Bryn Mawr will return home for a Saturday match against Franklin & Marshall.
