BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The Owls' defense led by

Grace Floreck, and goalkeeper
Natalia Chorzepa held #20 Swarthmore to one goal in the first half at Applebee Field on Wednesday afternoon. However, the Garnet scored two goals in the last twelve minutes of play and the Owls fell to 3-6-1 on the season, while Swarthmore improved to 8-0-1.
Highlights:
- Swarthmore opened the scoring as Keren Maze found the back of the net at 19:44.
- Chorzepa saved five of Garnet's six shots on goal in the first half.
- Midfielder Ariel Shultz frustrated the Garnet with strong ball distributions and defends to keep the score at 1-0 as the teams entered halftime.
- Swarthmore opened the second half on the attack, but Chorzepa saved four shots in less than five minutes and the score remained 1-0.
- At 78:30, the Garnet found the back of the net and followed with a third goal at 83:51.
- Daniela Dosen took the Owls' lone shot on goal in the final five minutes, but the score remained 3-0.
The Bryn Mawr soccer program will rest for the weekend before traveling to Muhlenberg on Wednesday evening.
