Thekla Jubinville,
Noor Werndlij, and Charlote Hauptman tallied assists.
Highlights:
- The Fords were on the attack from the opening whistle with a shot in the first two minutes of the game, but it would be Bryn Mawr who ticked the scoreboard. At the 10:04 minute mark, Jubinville provided Miller with a clean pass from right field and Miller smashed the back of the cage.
- Haverford again opened on the attack in the second quarter, but just like the last, it was the Owls who tallied a goal. Bryn Mawr earned a penalty corner at 21:16 taken by van Blerkom. The Sophomore inserted it back to her fellow Netherland native Werndlij who assisted Yacura with the Owls' second goal on the day.
- Neither team ticked the scoreboard in the third quarter. The Owls held the Fords to one shot while Miller and Hauptman each took a shot for the home team.
- The Owls came out swinging in the final quarter with five penalty corners. Ford's goalkeeper Mary Smith defended Bryn Mawr's attempts well, but the fourth proved to be the difference for the Owls as van Blerkom redirected a shot from Hauptman into the back of the cage at 51:59.
- Bryn Mawr's defense held the Fords to zero shot opportunities in the last quarter, and the Owls won 3-0.
Bryn Mawr travels to #3 Johns Hopkins this Saturday to continue Centennial Conference play.
