May played exceptionally well and won with the score of 21-13, 21-18. Alexandra Liu (23-21, 21-11) played a tight match but came out victorious. Giang Le did her best and got the score of (17-21, 17-21).

The freshmen Mariam Haider and Liu were victorious in their doubles match with the score (21-13, 21-18). Le and Stephanie Yang had a very close match, going to three sets, but unfortunately lost by a score of 13-21, 21-17, 16-21. May and Eram Haider also came very close but lost their match with the score of 17-21, 19-21.
