BALTIMORE, Md. – The Bryn Mawr College volleyball team suffered a 3-0 setback Saturday afternoon as the Owls fell to host Johns Hopkins 3-0 (25-22, 25-14, 25-11) in conference action.

Leading the attack for the Owls was junior Samantha Abbott and sophomore Rachel Ofili with six and five kills, respectively. Sophomores Sarah Gates and Noemi Moreno as well as senior Victoria Peltonen added one kills each.

Junior Danielle Preziuso handed out 13 assists while recording a team-best five digs. Moreno led Bryn Mawr's service with three aces as Preziuso added two.

Abbott, Gates and Ofili added two total blocks each for the Yellow and White.

Bryn Mawr is back to action on Tuesday, Oct. 22, when they travel to Swarthmore for a 7:00 pm match-up with the Garnet.
