Matthew Duffey will begin his first season as an assistant coach of the Bryn Mawr Soccer Program in the Fall of 2024. Duffey has spent the past 18 years coaching club soccer at Upper Moreland Soccer Club coaching both boys and girls travel soccer.Â

Duffey has spent three seasons as the head coach of the boys’ varsity soccer program at Upper Moreland High School leading them to a District One 3A playoff bid in his second season. For the last two seasons he was the head coach of the girls’ varsity program at New Hope-Solebury High School, achieving a District One 2A championship in his second season.

As a player, Duffey played club soccer with Springfield DELCO. He was a three-year starter for the Springfield High School Men's Varsity program and played two years for Division III Rochester Institute of Technology before turning to coaching.

Coach Duffey holds a USSF D coaching license, United Soccer Coaches Advanced National diploma as well as a Level 3 Goalkeeper diploma and other Special Topics diplomas.
