WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Bryn Mawr Soccer team battled King's College to a scoreless draw at McCarthy Stadium on Saturday night.
 
Highlights:

• King's (2-6-1) put pressure on Bryn Mawr (1-6-1) early on in the bout, notching three shots in the opening 15 minutes. The Owls and goalkeeper Lily Blackman fought off the Monarchs' offense for most of the first half before turning the momentum the other way.
• The final ten minutes saw Bryn Mawr control play, recording six shot attempts in the final ten minutes. The Owls couldn't find an answer for King's goalkeeper, Courtney Monard, who stopped both shots on target.
• Blackman posted three saves in the first half for Bryn Mawr.
• Emma Peifer got things started quickly in the second half, tallying the first shot of the frame just 42 seconds in.
• The Owls were able to shut down the Monarchs for the remainder of the game with Blackman posting four saves in the half.
• Isie Poff and Ciara Lalor each recorded multiple shot attempts in the game, with each notching a shot on goal. Blackman finished the game with seven saves.

Bryn Mawr returns to action on Saturday, October 3 as they host Johns Hopkins at 1 p.m. at Applebee Field.
