ALLENTOWN, Pa. – An all-around team performance lifted the Bryn Mawr volleyball team to a four-set victory over Cedar Crest on Wednesday night. After dropping the opening set, the Owls won three-straight to clinch the win (20-25, 25-20, 25-11, 25-14).

Highlights:
- Bryn Mawr (2-4) battled Cedar Crest (1-3) closely for much of the first set. The two sides kept within one point of each other until the score reached 10-10. From there, the Falcons went on a 7-2 run to jump ahead. The Owls closed the gap slightly before a 4-0 run from Cedar Crest made it 23-16. BMC went on its own four-point run to bring it within three; however, the comeback fell just short as the Falcons won the opening frame 25-20. Six different Owls recorded a kill in the set, including four from Adelaide Grace.
- The momentum stayed with Bryn Mawr to start the set as a quick back-and-forth was followed by an eight-point run for the Owls to make it 10-3. Cedar Crest responded with a 6-0 run to pull within one. BMC went right back on the offensive, going on a 10-1 run that moved the score to 20-10 in favor of the visitors. A late charge from the Falcons was held off as Bryn Mawr leveled the match at one set a piece.
- The Owls took control in the third set as an early 9-1 run set the tempo for the frame. Bryn Mawr continued to slowly build on its lead throughout he set before closing it out with a 7-1 run to take a commanding 25-11 win in the third. Grace tallied five kills in the frame while Amelia Chen recorded three aces.
- Bryn Mawr dominated the opening half of the fourth set, flying ahead to a 15-4 lead. The stretch saw three kills and two aces from Abigail Quigley. The Flacons managed to chip away slightly at the lead, but the Owls notched four-straight points to take the match with a 25-14 win in the final set. Quigley and Grace lead the set with five kills each while Lucy Divis tallied three.
- Grace posted 17 kills and a .368 attack percentage to lead the match. The junior also recorded three total blocks. Divis and Quiqley finished second on the team with ten kills each. It is the first time since September 14, 2024 that three Owls have recorded double-digit kills. Charlotte Mullen finished the contest with a career-high 35 assists.

The Owls return home on Saturday, September 19 as they host a tri-match against Elmira and Gwynedd Mercy inside the Class of 1958 Gymnasium beginning at 11 a.m.
